Gladys Louise Keeney

Gladys L. Keeney of Chester NJ passed away on Saturday February 7, 2015 at home after a long illness. Gladys was born on October 1, 1930 in Newark, NJ. She lived in Irvington NJ for many years before retiring to Little Egg Harbor in 1989 and has lived in Chester for the last 2 years. Gladys was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. A sweet and gentle soul, she was loved by many. She was an avid reader, very artistic and loved to cook and bake. She was especially known for her Christmas cookies she would bake and share every year. Gladys is survived by her daughter Patti and her husband Bill, her son Dennis and his wife Carol and her grandchildren Dennis and Christopher. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Keeney, her son Paul Keeney and her brother William Wegener. Gladys' Celebration of Life will include a memorial visitation on Wednesday February 11 at Lytwyn and Lytwyn Funeral Home from 10AM until 12PM.
