Gloria Elhin

Gloria Elhin, 72 of Totowa, entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2021 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains. Born on February 6, 1948 in Syria to the late Saliba Elhin & Leonia Hin, she lived with her family until she came to America with her father. Gloria loved her family and always took extra special care of them, she loved to cook Arabic food and made the best Syrian cookies. She also enjoyed the simple things, sewing and taking care of her house plants, she had a big lemon tree that she grew from a seedling. She loved to go swimming and being with her family at summer gatherings. She loved her mother dearly and took care of her until she died. She is survived by her brothers, Thomas Elhin & Joseph Elhin and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at St. George Antiochian Church, 237 Long Hill Road, Little Falls, NJ. at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Metropolitan Joseph presiding. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
