Gloria V. Smorra

Mrs. Gloria V. Smorra (nee Urbano) of Mountainside formerlly of Union, passed away on August 19, 2014 at the age of 83. Her funeral service will begin at 9am on Friday morning at the funeral home. The funeral mass will begin at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Ralph A. Smorra (2009). Loving Mother of Dr. Dominic Smorra D.C. (his wife Laurie Jo Smorra D.D.S.) and Anthony Smorra (his wife Tracey). Sister of Anthony Urbano, Lorato Urbano and the late Mary Fucci. Grandmother of Lina, Dominick Jr., Alyssa and Gabrielle, she is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Gloria was a bank teller with Wachovia in Newark for 20 years . Memberships include, Sacred Heart Church Rosary Society in Vailsburg and Seton Hall Prep Mothers Club.
