Gwidon Szymanski, 94 of Wyckoff, formerly of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest on May 16th at his home. Born in Paznon, Poland on March 14, 1922 to the late Jan & Zofia, he came to the United States in 1951 from England. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a retired Machinist & Field Service Technician for the Bobst Company of Roseland, retiring 30 years ago. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Halina (December 9, 2015) & 5 siblings & baby son, Mark. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children: Danuta Szymanski, Don & his wife Elizabeth, Eliza Van Boerun & her husband Richard, & Barbara Van Boerun. He is also the proud and loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Valentine Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown, PA.
