Hector Luis Freyta, age 78, from St. Cloud, Florida, drew his last breath on Friday, March 12, 2021. Hector was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, NY. Hector worked for Hilton Hotels and was a very hard working man. Who took great pride in his work and all he did in life. Hector enjoyed his Puerto Rican heritage an was avid lover of Puerto Rican ballads. But most of all he loved traveling and visiting family with his beloved wife of 59 years, his darling Pilar. Family was everything to him. He enjoyed spending quality time with his 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and taking care of his precious little dog, Abby. Hector was an honorable man of distinction, character, and love. Hector lived a life full of memories to last generations upon generations. Hector was generous, compassionate and loved doing for others. He is survived by his four children, Hector Jr, Maribel, Maritza and Albert. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23,2021 at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15pm A Graveside Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 Westside Avenue, Jersey City.
