Helen passed away suddenly on October 4, 2014. She was the beloved daughter of Mikola and Tamara Gonchar. She is also survived by brothers, John and Peter, sister, Anna and her husband, Jeff and their children, Jessica and Kelly, uncle, Peter Makarenko and cousin Gregory Jerow. She also leaves relatives in Ukraine and Russia. Helen was predeceased by her sister, Nina. She lived in Scotch Plains, Union, NJ, California and Pennsylvania with the last 3 years in Union. She was a member of Evangelical Baptist Church in Union.
