Helena Kikta, 80, peacefully entered into eternal life on November 25, 2022 at The Beehive Homes, Gulf Breeze, FL.
Born in Mokre, Poland to the late Tomasz Cypcar and Stefania Capik, she met and married her late husband, Joseph (2006) in 1960 and came to the United States soon thereafter. She lived most of her life in Maplewood, NJ and was a retired factory worker for the Champion Envelope Co. for 27 years before finally moving to Florida, in 2011. Helena enjoyed gardening and her evening walks with family and friends.
She is survived by her son John Kikta and his wife, Johnnie, her daughter, Olena Hausner and her husband Joseph, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Maria Kowalewska and her brother, Stanislaw Cypcar.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1 from 4-7pm with Parastas at 6:30pm at The Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Grillo, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday, December 2, St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church in Newark, NJ. Entombment following at the Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
