Hugog A Metellus

Hugog (Janine) was born on April 4th, 1937 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Augustine and Marie N. Cesar. Janine has three deceased sisters Auticienne, Tooton, Yolanda and a surviving brother Jean B. Cesar. She grew up painting, drawing and dressmaking as hobbies. Janine also had a great affinity for memorizing bible verses, but more importantly, her life was a reflection of the teachings of our Lord and Savior. She met her sweetheart Israel (deceased husband) while in Port-au-Prince and they were wed in matrimony in 1963. They are survived by three sons: John and wife Michelle, Paul, Harry and wife Shawnda. Janine lived a full life, pursued studies in nursing and health care, worked as a seamstress. She was well known throughout the entire family for her cooking. Janine was always willing to share her time and talents with family, friends while keeping her personal needs secondary. Janine passed on from labor to reward on July 7th after a trying battle with Alzheimer's and dementia. She is greatly missed by: friends, family and especially her grandchildren Oni and Joseph Metellus and Deyonni.
