Irene Ciesielski

Irene Ciesielski died on Thursday, June 23, at home in Union, a day before her 90th birthday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, June 27 at 9AM from the Laskowski Funeral Home (Union Funeral Home), 1600 Stuyvesant Ave, Union (unionfuneralhome.com), then to St Stanislaus Church in Newark for a 10AM Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery , North Arlington. Visitation is Sunday from 3-8PM at the funeral home. Irene was the beloved wife of the late John Ciesielski; the devoted mother of Toni Wagner and her husband, Chris and Barbara Maguire and her husband, Mark and the loving grandmother of Denise, Andrea and Matthew Wagner. Irene was retired after 30 years as a bookkeeper from Gralnick, Strauss, Dangerid, CPAs of Union. She was an active parishioner of St Stanislaus Church in Newark and was a volunteer at Overlook Hospital for 10 years.
