Irene Graessle

Irene Graessle, 95, died January 1, 2016 at Winchester Gardens in Maplewood, NJ. She was born and raised in Irvington and spent her adult life in Maplewood. Irene retired from her job of 46 years with Kraft Foods in 1983. Additionally, she was a talented artist who painted and did paper cutting. She was former director of the Union Harmonica Band. Irene was predeceased by her parents, William and Lena (Friedrich) Graessle. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Faith United Church of Christ, 1340 Burnet Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith United Church of Christ.
