Irene J. Cavanaugh, 94 of Dover, Delaware, formerly of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest on December 7th. Born November 4, 1922 to the late Klemens & Sophia Kislowski, she retired down to Delaware many years ago. She was a WWII Navy Veteran serving honorably from 1945-1947 as a 3rd Class Storekeeper. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, Baseball (The Boston Red Socks) and was a volunteer at the Dover Modern Maturity Center & Salvation Army. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Valentine Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield.
