Irene Yaworsky

Yaworsky, Irene (nee Tereshuk) 81, of Maplewood, passed away on April 10, 2013 at Care One in Livingston, NJ. Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Monday, April 15 at 8:30 AM from the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083 with the Funeral Liturgy at 9:30 AM at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 719 Sanford Ave., Newark, NJ 07106 and the burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and Parastas at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Irene was the beloved wife of Y. Joseph Yaworsky, the devoted mother of Mary Jane Kolodij and her husband Jerry, and George Myron Yaworsky. She was the loving grandmother of Michael and Stefan Kolodij. Mrs. Yaworsky was the dear sister of Lidia Lysak and dear aunt of Ihor and Michael Lysak and families. Mrs. Yaworsky was a bank teller at the Self Reliance Credit Union and Trident Bank, both of Newark, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate Masses for the repose of the soul of Irene, or donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, St. John's Church, or to a Charity of your choice.
