Irina Montemurro,, nee Bratash, 28, of Springfield, died Wednesday, July 3, in University Hospital in Newark. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, July 6 at 8:30 AM from the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, then to St John's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Newark for a 9:30AM Funeral Service. Burial Will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery in South Bound Brook. Visitation is Friday from 4-8PM with Parastas at 6PM. Irina was the beloved wife of John Montemurro, IV; devoted daughter of Parascevia(Natalie) and Vasil Bratash; loving sister of Natalie Bratash and the dear daughter in law of Linda and Stephen Farawell. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to St John's Ukrainian Catholic Church's charity fund to provide talking watches for the blind in Ukraine.
