Iwanna Smishkewych Chirovsky

Iwanna Chirovsky, (nee Smishkewych) of Tucson, Az passed away on May 23, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Nicholas L. Freishyn Chirovsky, Devoted mother of Dr. Leo Chirovsky with wife Maria (Hewryk), Rev. Dr. Andriy Chirovsky with wife Halyna (Pawlyshyn), Rev. Ivan Chirovsky with wife Maria (Wojtechko) and the Late Dr. George Chirovsky and his widow, Ariadna, Loving Grandmother of Mark, Christina and her husband Christopher Cassini, Tamara, Diana, Sophia, Alexander and his wife Ceara, Antony, and Taisa Chirovsky. She is also survived by many other loving family members. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 8:30 AM from the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ (unionfuneralhome.com) with the funeral service to follow at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 719 Sanford Ave., Newark, NJ 07106 and the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. The visitation will be on Friday, June 1 from 6-9 PM at the funeral home with Parastas at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to The Sheptytsky Institute Foundation, 223 Main St., Ottawa, ON, K1S1C4, a 501c3 charity.
