James Francis Currid

James Francis Currid 65, of Winfield Park NJ. Passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, NJ surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. Born in Orange, NJ to the late Joseph and Helen (nee Wehrle) Currid, James was employed at the former Red Devil Inc. in Union, NJ retiring 11 years ago. The fifth of nine children he is survived by his daughters Jennifer and Tina Weiss and son in law Patrick - Grandchildren Skylar and Sean Weiss - brothers William, Allen, Frank and sister Helen (Cookie) Hendericks. He was predeceased by brothers Joseph and Edward, sisters Patricia Welch and Doris Deene and his loving companion Patricia Allen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial visitation at The Union Funeral Home (Lytwyn & Lytwyn), 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ on Friday November 24 from 1 - 5pm - services at 4:30pm. Internment of cremains private. Donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
