With heavy hearts, we tell you of the prayerful and peaceful passing of Jane Karnaugh, aged 93, our cherished Mom, dear Momma-in-law Jane, sweet Gramma Jane, special Godmother & Aunt Janey. Yes, Jane is Number One in the hearts of her large, loving Karnaugh family.
Jesus and His Choirs of Angels sped Jane, fully blessed, Into Paradise on the morning of Friday, September 27, 2024. Jane courageously battled multiple health complications for many, many months. We thank the expert care team of highly qualified physicians, nurse friends and all health care providers at Hackensack Meridian Health JFK University Medical Center, Edison, NJ, and especially her son, Dr. Ronald Karnaugh.
Please pray for the repose of Jane’s soul and the daily strength of Jane’s entire family. We honor Jane's life with peace, prayers, gratitude, and love. We appreciate all acts of compassionate support during her end-of-life journey which wakes our difficult time of sorrow.
Jane was predeceased by her parents, Clara and Paul Krynski, and her two siblings. Jane now shares a heavenly birthday with her very special sister, Florence - just one year apart!
Jane’s husband, Peter, the greatest love of her life, patiently and eagerly awaited her return to his arms after his untimely demise at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona.
Jane is survived by her four loving, grateful children: Patti McQuade, Debbie Steele, Peter, Ron, and their spouses: Edmund McQuade, Sr., Lori, and Andreea. Jane’s dozen grandchildren are: Eddie, Jr., Peter Kevin and Claire McQuade; Nicholas Steele, Stacey Steele; Thomas Mercurio, Matthew, Michael and Lisa; Daniela, Petra, and Sofia Karnaugh.
Jane graciously reflected the light of Jesus into the lives of her children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other families in her hometown of Maplewood, NJ and in Lebanon during her golden years.
Janey, Job Well Done! We thank you Mommy and Gramma Jane for giving us all the love that shaped our lives so wonderfully. Moja Matka Moja Droga Ja Cię Kocham means that you loved us so! We thank you into eternity Janey Girl.
