Janet Louise Taylor (née Henry), 91, recently of Collingswood, N.J., formerly of East Stroudsburg, Pa, passed away on December 31, 2021. Janet was born on October 1, 1930, to Chapman and Hattie Henry in Delmar, NY. Janet met Roger M. Taylor in Verona, NJ, and they were married in 1957. They went on to raise 5 children together in Rockaway, NJ. Janet managed the catalog department for JC Penney until her retirement in 1986. She was a talented seamstress, quilter, painter and gardener. Janet was predeceased in 1992 by her husband, Roger, to whom she was married to for 35 years. She is survived by her children and their spouses: David and Nancy Jakway of Sullivan, NH, Douglas and Cathy Jakway of East Stroudsburg, PA, Pamela Taylor and John Sloane of Belvidere, NJ, Jeffrey and Kathleen Taylor of Haddon Heights, NJ, and Wayne and Theresa Taylor of East Stroudsburg, PA. She had 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 AM at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Interment will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Upper Montclair, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
