Jaroslawa Golda

Jaroslawa Golda, 93, of Linden, NJ, died on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at AristaCare at Delaire Nursing Home in Linden, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, May 16, at 10 AM at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, 309 Grier Ave., Elizabeth, NJ, followed by a burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Union Funeral Home, Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ. Born in Ukraine, Jaroslawa came to the United States after WWII and settled in the Elizabeth area where she met her husband, Bohdan Golda (deceased). After they were married, they moved to Linden where they lived for many years. Over the course of her life, Jaroslawa worked for a number of companies in the Linden/Route 1 area in administrative and production capacities. She will be remembered by her husbands extended family in the US and her nieces and nephews in Ukraine.
