Jean Lytwyn

Jean was the wife of the late Michael Lytwyn, the mother of Theodore (Ted), Steven and the late Michael W. Lytwyn, the grandmother of Gregory, Emily and Andrew Lytwyn , the great grandmother of Joshua and Logan and the sister of Olga Peterson and her husband, Al and the late Mary Maxwell. She is also survived by her niece, Patricia Peterson Lee, nephews Jeffrey and Christopher Peterson and Richard “Max” Maxwell. Born and raised in Newark, Jean settled in Irvington after her marriage and raised her three sons there. She was the consummate loving mother and wife. Jean was dedicated to her church, St John’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Newark where she was one of the last members of the Rosary Altar Society. In lieu of flowers, Jean would like contributions to : St John’s Ukrainian Catholic Church Charitable Fund, 719 Sandford Ave, Newark, NJ 07106. They have been assisting the poor in Ukraine and are now funding ambulances to help the wounded from the war.
