Jelica Szivek, (nee: Rancic), passed away, peacefully in her sleep, the morning of March 4th, 2016 in her home.Born in the small town of Prisijan, Pirot, of the former Yugoslavia, now Serbia, her family migrated to the City of Pancevo, when she was 4 years old. There, at the age of 34 she met her future husband of 47 years, Adam.She migrated to the United States in 1967, where she learned the English language, and became a US Citizen.She is survived by her youngest sister Marica, Her beloved son Frank and her eldest Robert. Her cherished grandson Michael, her daughters in law Kristen and Lisa, as well as many nieces, and great nephews and great niceness. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday morning, gathering at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 a.m. service. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
