Joan C. Murawinski, 73 of Nutley, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born November 10, 1945 in Jersey City to the late, Salvatore & Antoinette “Etts” (nee: Colucci) Santora, she lived in Nutley for the past 46 years. She was employed as a receptionist for Dr. James Agresti, Sr. in Nutley for 23 years, retiring a couple of years ago. Joan loved the simple things in life. She was a magnificent painter, die hard Yankee’s Fan (Graig Nettles was her all-time favorite player) and enjoyed spending time down the shore at their home in Beach Haven West. She is the beloved wife of Richard Murawinski, cherished mother of Richard Murawinski, Jr. & of David Murawinski & his wife, Lisa, loving sister of Rosalie Nicodemo & Barbara Donato, proud and loving grandmother of Daniel & Ava Murawinski. She is also survived by many nieces, nrphews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Ave., Nutley. (www.BiondiFuneralHome.com) Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, January 10th at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, thence to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave., Bloomfield, for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
