Joan V. McGovern, 86, lifelong resident of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully on August, 23, 2023. Beloved wife of Thomas O. McGovern, Sr. (2013). Devoted mother of Thomas O. McGovern, Jr., Paul McGovern and his wife Janet. Cherished grandmother of Connor McGovern, Sean McGovern, Vanessa Johnson, Victoria Johnson and Abigail Johnson. Dear aunt of John F. Yencha, Jr.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Monday, August 28, from 4-8pm in Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August, 29, 10:30am in St. Valentine's RCC, Bloomfield.
Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
