Joanne D. Russo, 80, of Belleville, N.J., passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Center for Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains, N.J. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn & Grillo, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, N.J. The Funeral will begin on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A Catholic Prayer Service will be offered at 11 a.m., with interment following at Hollywood Cemetery, 1621 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union. Memories and condolences may be shared at unionfuneralhome.com.

Born in Jersey City, N.J. to the last Joseph and Ruth Incontri, Joanne lived in North Carolina before settling back in New Jersey. A homemaker, Joanne was devoted to the care of her family. Joanne loved dancing to the oldies, watching horror films, and vacationing at Walt Disney World in Florida. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending holidays with her family. Joanne was an animal lover and enjoyed watching TV gameshows.

Predeceased by her husbands, Adolph Bimbo, Jr., and John Russo. She is survived by her sisters, Elaine, Pamela, and Susan; her children, Anthony and Debbie, Michelle, Robert, Sonny and Tara, John, and Richie and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Jason, Melissa, Adrick, Jacob, Kristina, Tia, Kurt, Stephanie, Sebastian, Kya, Dorian, Justin; and great-grandchild, Scarlett.
