John J. Gambert Jr., 69, of Hillside, NJ passed away on September 11, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, September 15 at 10 AM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ with the interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ. The visitation will be on Thursday, September 14 from 4-8 PM. Born in Newark, NJ, John worked for Rockland Corp. for 20 years and Tahari ASL of Millburn for over 10 years before retiring. He was the beloved husband of 39 years of Ann, the devoted father of Tammy Fonseca and Brian and Peggy Gambert, and the loving grandfather of Dina and Amanda.
