Jose Pardo

José Pardo (95) died June 18, 2023 peacefully at home in Bayonne. He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1927.

He came to the United States in 1957 and worked for a couple of Steamship Companies in New York. His last job was with the Archdiocese of Newark until he retired at the age of 84.

He leaves behind, his loving wife of 47 years Cristina (nee Salazar); his beloved 3 daughters María Cristina Lupianez (nee Pardo), Maria Esther Bailey (nee Pardo), Maria Rebeca Pardo; 12 loving grandchildren, 1 tiny great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m.   Cremation will take place privately.
