Joselito "Joe" Portorreal

Joselito "Joe" Portorreal, 50 of Newark, entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2022. Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident. Joe was employed as a Waiter with Bensi Restaurant in North Arlington for the past several years, prior to that he was employed for the Red Hawk at Montclair State University. Joe loved music, singing, dancing and being social and bringing a smile to everyone's face while singing some Luther Vandross or R&B classics. He also enjoyed Spanish Music. He is survived by his siblings; Margarita "Margie" Rosario, Gloria Cooper & Louis Perez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was known lovingly as "Uncle Joe" to his great-nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, March 25th at 12:00 p.m. at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Ave., Bloomfield. (All are requested to meet directly at the cemetery)
