Joseph A. George

Joseph was the beloved husband of Patricia nee Skiro. He was the devoted father of James and wife, Debbie, Carol and husband Chuck, Ricky and wife Cheryl, Joanne and the late Leonard and his wife Patty; the loving grandfather of Kristin, Cynthia, Cathryn, Jessica, Jennifer, Brian and Harry and the cherished great grandfather of Angel and Alyson. He also leaves his dear brothers and sisters, Rose Praitano, Anne Hoch, Teresa Tillmes and Margaret, Gerald and Leonard George. Joseph was a retired East Orange police officer and the retired security director of St. Michael's and St. James Hospitals in Newark. He was a member of the FBI National and a proud Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory would be appreciated to the charity of your choice.
