Joseph J Pesce

Joseph J. Pesce, 66, of Mountain Top, PA, entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2024. Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Vincent A. and Madeline (nee: Trezza), he lived in Pennsylvania since 1990. Joe retired from the US Postal Service in 2015. He was a proud Air Force Veteran and member of the American Legion – Mountain Top Post 781 and the Sons of Italy. He was an avid Yankees and Raiders fan and enjoyed his crossword puzzles in the morning while sipping on a cup of coffee. His greatest joy in life, however, was spending time with his friends, family, and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed cheering his children and grandchildren on at their sports games.

He is the cherished husband of Renata (nee: Doria), the beloved father of Melissa Pesce, Amanda Pesce, and Vincent Pesce, loving grandfather of John Lupcho, Wyatt Lupcho, Madelyn Frailey, and Theodore Glaser, and dearest uncle to many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his aunt Joann Trezza, cousins Maria, Michael, Mark and Sara Trezza, Lesley and Paul Knight, Emma Schiller and family, Jennifer Fitzpatrick and family, and Anthony Scerbo and family, and sister-in-law Silvana and her husband Louis, and sister-in-law Antoinette Urban.  He is predeceased by his sister, Mary Jean Pesce.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth Street, Jersey City, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
