Joseph John Stypulkoski

Mr. Joseph J. Stypulkoski passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on March 20, 2015 at the age of 94. Visiting hour are 4pm to 8pm on Monday March 23 in Levandoski Funeral Home 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield.His funeral will begin here at 9am on Tuesday morning. His funeral mass will begin at 10am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave. Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Joe is the beloved husband of Aurelia (nee Cozzini). Loving father of John J. (his fiancee Fran) , Tom R. (his wife Christina) and Denis J. (his wife Denise) Stypulkoski. He was the last brother of Louis, Wanda, Charles and Stanley. Loving grandfather of Joseph, Michael, Kevin, Corinne, Matthew and Kayla. Cherished great grandfather of Gianna Nicole. Joe had worked for Walter Kidde Corp. in Belleville as a machinist in the Aerospace Engineering Dept. for over 30 years, retiring many years ago. He was a proud Marine Veteran serving during WW2, fighting as a machine gunner in the South Pacific at the Battle of Bougainville.
