Joseph Vincent Rizzo

Joseph Vincent Rizzo, 53 of Newark, entered into eternal rest on November 10th at University Hospital, Newark. Born in Newark, to the late Vincent J. Rizzo & Janice Barbusin, he was a lifelong resident. He was employed as a Truck Driver for many years with Earth Co., in Newark and recently for Garden State Sanitation. Joe loved nothing more than being around his family. Joe was born with a quick wit, sharp mind and irrepressible sense of humor that would serve him well throughout his life. He is predeceased by his parents & step-parents; Joseph Barbusin & Marie Yannizello-Rizzo, and his nephew, Vincent Terrazzino. He is the beloved brother of Jimmy Rizzo & his wife, Jennifer, Kelly Charles & her husband, Donald & Dawn Terrazzino, loving uncle of Danielle, Donald, Sheree, Alyssa, Zachary, Gianna & Dominic, and ten great-nieces and nephews He is also survived by his loving companion, Tina Marie Kampolis & proud Godfather of Gianna Rose Rizzo. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14th at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Additional parking on Broughton Avenue). Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, November 15th at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark. Cremation will be held in private.
