Mr. Juan Sanchez, age 64, of Bloomfield, passed away Thursday morning, November 3, 2022, at his home. Twenty years ago Juan suffered a brain injury incident that left him bedridden and was under the care of his mother and family. The love and caring Juan received was what kept him alive for so long. Even after their mother’s passing, it was this love that his sibling continue to care for him until his last breath on Thursday.
He was born January 30, 1958, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the second oldest of 9 sibling born to the late Juan and Carmen Sanchez. His parent move to Bronx, NY where he was raised from the age of 8. He attended Clinton High School in the Bronx and Baruch College before founding his true calling, The US Marine Corp.
On top of Juan being a son, brother, father, uncle and friend he was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he wore that badge with honor as he should have. His patriotism for country and pride for the Marine Corps helped him through his military career. As a Sargent and as an Instructor he molded and made Marines as the saying goes, and he was proud of that. It takes a selfless person to inspire and motivate others in becoming a protector of this great nation, and that he was and he did it well.
We salute you we honor you and we thank you for your service dear brother, God speed Marine you
will never be forgotten but you will be missed. Semper Fidelis dear brother Semper Fidelis!
Mr. Sanchez was loved and care by his family. He is survived by his son Jael Sanchez, his four sisters Carmen Sanchez, Millie Martinez, Juana Sanchez Rodriguez, and Wanda Sanchez, four brothers Cristino Sanchez, Gilberto Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, and Steven Sanchez.
