Julia Katherine Zawacki

Julia Katherine Zawacki, 98, of Bloomfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her home.Julia was born on February 13, 1917 in Bloomfield where she was lifelong resident. For many years she was employed by Eastern Tool Company, of Belleville as a product inspector, prior to her retirement 36 years ago. She was a member of the Saint Valentine's Columbiettes.Julia was the daughter of the late Stanislaw & Victoria (nee Mech) Zawacki; sister of the late Thaddeus & Adele Zawacki, the late Alexandra (Alice) & John Miller and the late George & Martha Zawacki. All of Julia's siblings were residents of Bloomfiled. Julia was also predeceased by a nephew, Z. Thaddeus (Jerry) Zawacki. She is survived by Jerry's wife, Gail Zawacki of Lavalette, other nieces and nephews, Regina & George Pawlikowski of Arapahoe, N.C., Richard Zawacki of Bloomfield and Phyllis Miller of Bloomfield; and a godchild, Helen Leyrer of Nutley.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, August 19th at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Valentine Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield.
