Karen B. Reeves (nee: Szczerba), 54 of Manhawkin, entered into eternal rest on November 21, 2019 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Nutley and Belleville prior to moving to Manahawkin in 2001. A graduate of Nutley High School (Where she was voted "Most popular & biggest hair"), she went on to attain her XRay Technicians License and worked for an Oral Surgeon. Her true love and passion was cooking. She was an incredibly talented Chef, she worked as a Chef for MSNBC for many years and had planned on opening a Cafe named Main Street Cafe but illness interupted those dreams. She enjoyed going to concerts, broadway shows and loved to sing. She is survived by her husband, Ken, her children; Kenneth,Jr & Kyle, her siblings; Laurie Yadimarco, David Szczerba, Brian Miller & Audrey Mendez and cherished mother, Lorraine Miller. Visitation on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Relatives and Friends may attend the funeral on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. A Catholic Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
