Kevin J Mcavoy

Kevin J. McAvoy, 83 of Magnolia (formerly Maplewood), entered eternal life on January 12, 2023, at Jefferson Stratford Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 30, 1939, in Boston, MA, to the late Kevin J. McAvoy and Virginia E. Ingram (née Sawyer), Kevin proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, William McAvoy. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jolanta (née Gilewicz); brother, Raymond Ingram (Heather). He is the beloved father of Kevin McAvoy, Jr., Rhonda Costa (Joseph), Michael McAvoy, Peter McAvoy (Kristen), and Anna DeCastro (Marc). He is also a loving grandfather and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn & Grillo, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ. Mausoleum Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
