Leon Hrebinka

Leon Hrebinka, 80, died Sunday, March 1 in Alaris at Riverton in Rahway. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, March 5 at 8:30PM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave, Union (unionfuneralhome.com). Visitation will be Thursday from 7PM until the service. Entombment at Graceland Memorial Park will take place on Friday with guests gathering at the funeral home at 10:30AM. Leon is survived by his daughters, Sheryl Prawdzik and Ann Trela, 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Leon was a draftsman for numerous companies in the area . He was also a referee for soccer, football, baseball and ice hockey for various leagues. He had a passion for dancing and travel, was a chess master and an avid reader. He was a veteran of the US Army.
