Leon Rygiel
September 3, 1922 — November 18, 2011
Mr. Rygiel was the beloved husband of Genevieve (nee Ficzko), the devoted father of Valerie and her husband Steve Krok, the loving Grandfather of Joseph and Jason Krok, cherished Great Grandfather of Xavier, Benjamin, Andrew and Abigail Krok and the dear Brother of Josephine Skrzyniarz and the late Zigmund Rygiel. He was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Irvington before moving to Union in 1970. He was a Coast Guard Veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 35 of Union.
