Leonard J Moravek

Leonard J. Moravek, 76 of Toms River, formerly of Sayreville, entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2022, at his residence. Born in Newark, he lived in Toms River since 1989. He was a retired TIR Checker for Maher Terminals in Elizabeth. Lenny loved the shore. Whether it was sunning on the beach, walking on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights or fishing, the shore was his happy place. He was also an avid wordsearch game player overall he was a fun and loving father, grandfather, and uncle to many.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (nee: Archer), his children; Leonard Jr., & HelenAnn Huszar (Greg), his brother Richard Moravek and grandchildren; Brianna & Brody. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday morning, gathering at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. at St. Valentine Church, Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

In addition to floral tributes, donations may also be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in his name.
