Lester Rachubinski

Lester Rachubinski, 71 of Ormand Beach, Florida, formerly of Glen Ridge, entered into eternal life on February 17th. Born September 17, 1945 in Germany, to the late Joseph & Czeslawa (Jessica) Rachubinski, he lived in Glen Ridge before moving permanently to Florida 5 years ago. A graduate of Bloomfield High School and attended some college. He proudly served in the US Army in the mid 1960's. Lester was a retired Essex County Sheriff's Officer, retiring 15 years ago. He was a snowbird for many years until recently. Lester loved to travel all over the world and was an honest, hardworking man. He was also a member of the Joseph Poniatowski Association. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Rachubinski & Sophie Farrell & her husband, James. Visitation will be held on Thursday & Friday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, February 25th at St. Valentine Church, Bloomfield, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.
