Lillian Stinziano

Lillian Stinziano (nee: Scibetta), 98 of Manahawkin, formerly of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Born in Jersey City to the late Biagio Scibetta & Sarah Dispoto, she was lifelong resident. A Graduate of Dickinson High School, she worked for many years as a saleswoman for Stern’s. Lillian was a devout Catholic and very active in her parish, Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. For 38 years, she was the HRC Girl Scout Leader, she was a member of the Rosarians & the former Children of Mary, she volunteered assisting with CCD on Sunday’s and even had the honor of keeping the vestments and cleric garments ironed and in pristine condition. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stinziano (2003) & her siblings; Benny, Carl, Gabrielle “Gabe” Scibetta & Dolly Loredo. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Louis Stinziano & his wife Arlene, Blaise Stinziano & Joann Marinello & her husband, Joe, her siblings; Joseph, Paul & Peter Scibetta & Anna Marie Cavanaugh. She is also the proud and loving grandmother of 3 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24 from 3:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., Nutley, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ. (There will be no visitation at the funeral home Wednesday morning). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Funeral Services under the professional direction of Nicholas J.
