Linda A Willoughby

Linda Anne Willoughby passed away peacefully on June 1, 2016 in Summit, NJ. Linda was born on February 28, 1949 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of William and Grace Hastie. Linda married the love of her life, Stephen Willoughby, Sr., and they settled in Kearny, NJ where they raised their 4 children. Later, they bought a home and settled in Union, NJ where they enjoyed many happy years and family gatherings. Linda was a devoted employee of Durex, Inc. in Union, NJ where she was an Office Manager for over 25 years. Linda was loved by her colleagues and esteemed for her dedication and exemplary work ethic. Linda is survived by her husband Steve and her sister Debbie Canace; her children - daughter Renee Savoy and her husband Rob; son Stephen Willoughby, Jr. and his wife Michelle; daughter Sherry Nigro and her husband Paul; daughter Danielle Willoughby;10 grandchildren Jake, Brittany, Daniel, Julia, Rachel, Grace, Matthew, Hope, Mikey, and Noelle. She also leaves behind numerous extended family, loving relatives and life long friends. There will be a memorial gathering to celebrate Linda's life from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial service will begin at 2:15 pm. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in Linda's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital for pediatric cancer research.
