Lloyd S. Beckford, 76 of East Orange, formerly of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, W.I., entered into rest on May 9, 2022 at UMDNJ, Newark. Born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, W.I., he lived in Harlem before finally settling in East Orange. He was a successful Restaurateur, establishing Fine Choice Restaurant on St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem in 1970 until he retired. Specializing in authentic West Indie cuisine. A Celebration of Life and Viewing will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Funeral & Burial will take place in Elizabeth, Jamaica, W.I. under the professional care of C. Brown & Sons Funeral Parlour, 4 Church Station Alley, Black River, St., Elizabeth, Jamaica, W.I.
