Lorraine Patricia Toppin

Lorraine Patricia Toppin, 69 of Orange, entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2022, at East Orange General Hospital. Born October 25, 1952, in Princess Royal, Barbados, she married Stephen D. Toppin in 1975. From that union of 46 years came three beautiful children: Stephen Toppin, Jr., Mark I. Toppin & Peter D. Toppin and one grandchild, Mark Toppin, Jr. She was fondly referred to as Gloria by her family. Her pride and joy were her husband, children and grandchild. One of her most excited and accomplished moments was when she graduated from Essex County Community College with an associate degree in Social Services. Lorraine was a woman of strong faith who spread the word to all who would listen, she enjoyed singing hymn and sending prayers to her loved ones and praying for everyone’s protection. Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Union Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083.
