Senior Olympic Awards Recipiant and US Army Veteran Louis A May Sr age 86 of Irvington died on Monday June 25, 2012 at Berkeley Heights Nursing and rehabilitation center. Relative and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday June 28, at 11:00am at the Union Funeral Home Lytwyn Lytwyn 1600 Stuyvesant Ave Union, followed by an entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be on Thursday morning from 9:30-11:00am only. Born in Newark, Louis has lived in Irvington for many years.He was a office manager for PSE&G for many years.Louis served in the Army during the Korean war where he was a middlewaight champion Boxer, and was also involved in physical fitness and body building. Louis won numerous awards for track and field in the Senior Olympic games . Louis is survived Evelyn, mother of his children, his daughters Darlene Ortman, Deborah, and Diane, his sons Louis Jr and Alan, his grandson Robert Condon Jr, his brother Robert, and his sister Marie Fumosa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Judes Childrens Hospital in Louis Mays memory.
