Luis Raventos

Luis F. Raventos, 62 of South Plainfield, formerly of Union, entered into eternal life on February 24, 2022. Born in Santiago, Cuba in March of 1959, he lived in Miami, Florida for many years before locating to Union in 1986 and recently to South Plainfield. Luis was employed for many years with HVAC companies as an Oil Furnace Tech. He currently was employed with AJ Perri for the past ten years and prior to that with the Jayson Company of Union. Luis lived a quiet and simple life, cherishing his family he loved his family immensely and would give the shirt of his back for anyone. His children and grandchildren were his life. He is the beloved husband of Angelina (nee: Martinez), cherished father of Luis Raventos, Robert Raventos & his wife Stephanie & Michelle Raventos, proud and loving grandfather of Kristian, Nikolas & Austin Raventos, Madison Hutchins & Kayden Sledge. He also survived by his beloved mother Milagros, sister, Mary Morales and uncle, Juan C. Rego. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Union Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, NJ. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union
