Lydia Mary Zawistowski

Lydia Mary Zawistowski (age 53) of Cedar Grove N.J. passed away suddenly at Presbyterian Hospital N.Y. on May 9, 2011. Visiting will be at Levandoski Funeral Home 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield N.J. on Wednesday evening, the hours are 4pm to 8pm. Lydia was the partner of Claudia A. Brennan for 26 wonderful years. Her mother is Lydia D. Zawistowski her father was the late Sigmund M. Zawistowski. Mother of Chelsea and John Cammarota. Sister of Linda M. Hradil-Zawistowski. Grand Mother of Devyn, Logyn and Joshua. Aunt and God Mother of Sophie Hradil. Lydia was the first female Police Officer and the first Detective for the township of Bloomfield N.J. She served for almont 30 years and retired as a Lieutenant Detective in 2008. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Alzheimers Association 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251 Denville N.J. 07834 would be preferred.
