Madeline M Regan

Madeline M. Regan, 98 of Whiting, formerly of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born May 11, 1920 in Jersey City, to the late Dominick & Anna Salerno, she was a lifelong resident, until moving to Whiting a year ago. She was a homemaker. Madeline was a proud member of St. Aedan’s Parish, she received all her sacraments there. She enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with her family and friends & occasional trips to Atlantic City. She is predeceased by her husband, Leo (1988) & 7 siblings. She is the cherished mother of Carole Stananaway & her husband Alfred, Michael Regan & his wife Diane, & Janet Wojturski & her husband Andrew; beloved grandmother of Brian, Joan & Jason Stananaway and proud and loving great grandmother of 7. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at St. Aedan’s Church, 800 Bergen Ave., Jersey City from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
