Margery A. Mcginness

Born November 25, 1931 to Alberta & Robert Martin, Margery grew up in Irvington NJ. She graduated from Irvington HS and worked at Hollywood Furniture for 30 years. She met the love of her life, Thomas McGinness, while shopping at A&P and they were married August 1, 1953. Margery was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 40 years. She was so excited to become a great-grandma (due any day.) Margery is pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas, 6 siblings, daughter, Carole, and son-in-law, Peter. She leaves behind her devoted daughter Ruth Anne, grandchildren Jennifer, Jason, & Cynthia, and many other family and friends. Her dogs, John-John & Todd miss her dearly. Visitation will be held at Union Funeral Home – Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union NJ on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 12PM-3PM. OES service at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
