Maria C Sanzone

Maria C. Sanzone, 69 of Nutley, entered into eternal life on December 21, 2023 at UMDNJ, Newark. Born in Partinico, Sicily on July 1, 1954 to the late Antonio DiTrapani & Benedetta Virga, she lived there until she married on April 7, 1977, then her and her new spouse moved to Belleville, NJ and in 2005 settled in Nutley.

Mrs. Sanzone was a God-fearing woman and a strong, loving & caring, homemaker to her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing cook and took much joy in cooking for her family and upholding as many traditions as she could. She was a devote member of Living Faith Christian Assembly in Nutley, there not only was her faith strengthened but her loving for worship music as well. She could often be heard singing some of her favorite worship songs.

She is the beloved wife of Antonino Sanzone, the cherished mother of Robert Sanzone & his wife Stacey, Francesca Patti & her husband Charles, Giuseppe Sanzone & Antonio Sanzone, proud and loving grandmother of Eden Grace, Canaan, Judah & Zion Sanzone, Gianluca & Valentina Patti. She is also survived by her brothers, Giuseppe, Santino, Michele & Giovanni DiTrapani.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, December 29th beginning with visitation at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to commence at 11:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
