Marie-Claire was a devoted mother to her only son Wendy Saget. Her family mourns her loss but also feels at peace knowing that she is no longer in pain. Marie was a very family-oriented individual, often hosting gatherings at her house to bring her family together. Marie was also one to reach out to family and friends consistently just to see how they were and see if she could be of any help. This also translated into her career as an LPN, always ensuring that her patients are alright and well taken care of.
Marie-Claire was a kind-hearted soul and very kind to whomever she would meet. She was a devoted Catholic and often visited the sacred heart of Port-au-Prince in Haiti. This would remain the same as she came to America often reading her bible in her spare time.

She was happiest when tending to others in any capacity and seeing new places especially ones that included the beach. To anyone who knew Marie-Claire knew that she was not a fan of driving on the highway. As she would always say when passing a large truck “Please, please, please slow down. Mwen pa nan rush. Mwen pa driver highway, mwen se yon driver lokal.”
