Marie Soleda Duroseau

Marie Duroseau, 49 of Plainfield, entered into eternal rest at JFK Medical Center on February 22, 2024.

Marie Soleda Duroseau was born on July 25, 1974 to Fredine Germain Duroseau and Gerard Duroseau at Cumberland hospital in Brooklyn, New York. The youngest of six children, her siblings, in birth order, are Fabre Duroseau, the late Ricky Duroseau, Michelle Duroseau Homere, the late Serge Duroseau, and the late Patrick Duroseau. Although she had only one child, the amount of love she extended to her nieces and nephews made it to where she was a second mom to many. She was a caring, kind and loving woman who was deeply loved and respected by all those she came into contact with. Family, friends, coworkers, and the list goes on. She had an ability to make everyone laugh with funny jokes and witty lines of questioning. She also had an amazing presence that could light up any room that she walked into. A presence that will be sorely missed for years to come. She is leaving us to cherish in her memory a host of extended family and friends from all walks of life. Solee’s memory will be a light and comfort to us all, reminding us of the strength of family bonds and friendship. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, her laughter and love echoing in our memories.

Visitation on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Burial to follow service at Rosedale Cemetery, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ
